We have created Health Compare as a free to use comparison website for all consumers or patients who require hospital treatment in England and a few other things too. We provide comparison information to consumers and others on hospitals, Virtual GPs, Care Homes, Health Insurance for pre existing conditions and other matters. We cover NHS providers, private providers and organisations offering health insurance policies. With effect from 1st January 2021 our services are only being made available to eligible citizens of the United Kingdom. We are unable to offer our services to citizens of the European Economic Area (EEA) for the time being, even if they reside in the UK, and do not knowingly process any personal data of such citizens. If you are a citizen of the EEA you are not eligible to use our services and should not make enquiries of service providers by using our website or systems.

Our site is made available free of charge to UK consumers and patients who use our site and are eligible to do so under these terms of use. The hospitals or other service providers you contact through us may pay us a fee for putting you in touch with them or if they provide you with a service or product. This is subject to the terms of contracts we may have with them. We make no charge to consumers. If you would like further information about fees that may be payable to us by a service provider with whom we connect you, please ask that service provider for further details and they will be happy to advise you.

We don’t advise you on health, medical, financial, legal, claims management or other matters and we don’t provide you with recommendations, but we do endeavour to provide you with the very best publicly available information, clearly and impartially presented so you can make informed “choices” to meet your needs in choosing a hospital or other health provider in England based on the performance data we show, and we also connect you with those who can advise you on other matters.

All the hospital information we provide is compiled from trusted government and other sources principally from the NHS and from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the body responsible for oversight of all care provider entities in England, and from other reliable data sources. This information is processed and compiled by our experts into readily accessible and clear formats to guide you in an impartial way. We seek to update our information whenever the NHS and the CQC releases the latest data sets.

Your privacy is of the highest importance to us, we never collect information from you which exceeds the minimum necessary for us to provide the services we offer you. We do not knowingly collect data from citizens of the EEA, or from any other persons who are not eligible to use our services. Some of the information we collect relates to your location or postcode which you enter on our site so that you can search for relevant information about hospitals and other services close to you. If you make an enquiry to a relevant hospital or other provider, they will need some personal information about you. The information you set out on an enquiry form on our site is stored by us and is kept private in accordance with our Privacy Policy. If you provide hospitals or other service providers we connect you to with personal information that information will be governed by their privacy policies, which you should review to be sure you understand how your information is being protected.

By using our site, you confirm that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to comply with them. This constitutes a contract between us.
